Far from everything and everyone. This is the sense of who runs the Banana Trail, one of the attractions offered in the Iguaçu National Park. The tour’s main mark is the contact with nature, but goes far beyond that. The visitor is invited to disconnect from the world, relax and let the daily stress go away with the 1.5 km track inside the Atlantic Forest.
The route can be done on a walk or with an electric vehicle. The Banana Trail is an invitation to enjoy nature, species of native flora and fauna of the Iguaçu National Park.
At the end of the trail a short break at the mounting point and then a new walk half a kilometer. A suspension bridge completes the scenario that leads to bunker mounted 10 meters high. The point is used for observation of birds and aquatic species in a mini wetland.
After the walk through the woods the fun will be in the Iguassu River. On board a twin-engine boat, the visitor will glide through the top of the Iguaçu Falls, which leads to an archipelago with more than 40 islands. Along the way nature on both sides of the border (Brazil – Argentina) shows its splendor.
In this part of the tour there is time for a swim, always with the supervision of a specialized guide.
